Feeding Hope: Mary’s Meals Race to Feed Kids This Mother’s Day with Ellen Miller - 04/21/2026

The Catholic Morning Show

Ellen Miller, Iowa Coordinator for Mary’s Meals, shares how the organization is feeding over three million children daily around the world and how Iowans can get involved locally. She highlights the upcoming “Race to Feed Kids” on Mother’s Day weekend, where a simple 5K can provide a full year of meals for a child. Drawing from her personal experiences visiting schools in Malawi, Ellen paints a powerful picture of how consistent meals not only nourish children but transform education, families, and entire communities. It’s an inspiring invitation to turn small acts of love into a global impact.
