75,000 Rosaries for Fulton Sheen's Beatification – Msgr. Roger Landry – 08/12/2026

The Catholic Morning Show

Msgr. Roger Landry, National Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies USA, joins Deacon Mark Campbell to explain the World Mission Rosary and the national campaign to hand-make 75,000 of them ahead of Archbishop Fulton Sheen's beatification. Landry traces the five-decade, five-color rosary Sheen designed in 1951 to unite American Catholics in prayer for the missions on every continent, and details how tens of thousands of the faithful will pray it together immediately before Sheen's beatification Mass on September 24 in St. Louis. He also shares how listeners can contribute handmade rosaries to the effort and where to follow the historic beatification.
