The Last Communion of Saint Jerome — Fr. Basil Nixen

The Catholic Morning Show

Benedictine monk and author Fr. Basil Nixen joins Deacon Mark Campbell to explore the life, legacy, and Eucharistic devotion of Saint Jerome — one of the greatest fathers of the Latin Church. Drawing from his new book The Last Communion of Saint Jerome, Fr. Nixen reveals how Jerome's love for Scripture, the Eucharist, and Our Lady shaped both his own monastic vocation and centuries of Christian art and tradition. This conversation is a timely and enriching reflection for the week following Corpus Christi.
