The Catholic Morning Show

Today on Catholic Morning Show, we explore a new opportunity for youth in the Diocese of Des Moines and reflect on how we can better support our priests. First, Carolyn Schultz shares details about the first-ever AD Astra Youth Conference happening July 17–18 at Grand View University in Des Moines. Designed for high school students across the diocese, this event will offer dynamic speakers, the sacraments, and opportunities for authentic encounter and community. Then, Fr. Andrew Rauenbuehler, vocations director for the Diocese of Davenport, discusses Pope Leo XIV’s April prayer intention for priests in crisis. He shares insight into priestly life, seminary formation, and how the laity can support priests in meaningful ways.
