The Abundance of God's Grace: A Gospel Reflection for the 12th Sunday in Ordinary Time – Deacon Randy Kiel – 06/18/2026

The Catholic Morning Show

Deacon Randy Kiel — deacon and licensed mental health counselor — offers a powerful Gospel reflection for the Twelfth Sunday in Ordinary Time centered on the abundance of God's grace. He draws on the persecution of the prophet Jeremiah, who could not stop preaching the Word of God, and on St. Paul's teaching in Romans that the grace of Christ far outweighs the death inherited through Adam. This Catholic Scripture reflection invites listeners to unite their suffering to the Cross and to remain vigilant in prayer through the Psalm refrain "Lord, in your great love, answer me."
