Faith, Football & the Dowling Standard: 22 Years at Dowling Catholic - Coach Tom Wilson - 09/25/2026

The Catholic Morning Show

Dowling Catholic head football coach and athletic director Tom Wilson reflects on 22 years at the West Des Moines school, where faith and a small-town community spirit have shaped thousands of student athletes. Coach Wilson explains how postgame radio interviews on Iowa Catholic Radio build real-world confidence in young people, and previews tonight's Class 5A district road game at Waterloo West. He also shares why Dowling football focuses on meeting its standard, not just the scoreboard, after one of the toughest early-season schedules in Iowa.
