How to Pray for the Holy Souls: The Purgatorian Manual Returns - Jason Gale - 09/22/2026

The Catholic Morning Show

Jason Gale of TAN Books joins the Catholic Morning Show to introduce the Purgatorian Manual, a classic 1894 prayer book compiled by the Redemptorist Fathers for praying for the Holy Souls in Purgatory. He walks through its daily devotions, the Rosary for the Dead, a 31-day prayer program, and meditations from Saint Alphonsus Liguori. Just ahead of November, the month of the Holy Souls, Jason explains why TAN restored this Catholic prayer book as a keepsake built to last a lifetime.
