Your Coexist Decal Won't Get You into Heaven Anymore w/ Silas Mähner

The Saint Kolbe Studios Podcast

Catholics and the climate have had an interesting relationship since the Enlightenment era, but especially so in the last half-century. We often seem to make one of two mistakes: earth-worship or a sort of Baconian subjugation of nature. Turns out, those both move you further from God. So, how do Catholics properly understand our obligation to the environment without getting all woke (or whatever buzzword you prefer)? My guest today is Silas Mähner, a climate entrepreneur and Catholic (not in that order) who thinks that question is a silly one. Our call to steward the Earth means we ought to look for energy sources that promote human flourishing while using resources responsibly. _________________________ You can find Silas at these links: Catholic Founders ErthSearch _________________________ Need podcast help?
