I’m 23 and saving s*x for marriage. Here’s why.
The Everyday Saint
I’m 23 years old, and I’ve been choosing to save sex for marriage for as long as I can remember. And honestly? We’re still going strong. But why? What is sex actually for? Why does God ask us to wait? In this episode, I’m sharing a talk I gave to the “Huskies for Life” group at Michigan Technological University about saving sex for marriage and navigating relationships in college. We get into why the Church asks us to wait, not just what the rules are. We talk about the goodness of the body, God’s design for relationships, making moral decisions when you’re surrounded by a culture that normalizes hookup culture, the practical reasons for saving sexual intimacy for marriage, and what it actually looks like to live this out in college. About Podcast
The Everyday Saint Podcast is a podcast delving into transparent, joyful, and honest truths about what it means to become a saint...not someday, but here and now. This isn’t about perfection or performance. It’s about learning to trust God in the ordinary, responding to His call with courage, and choosing faithfulness even when the path is unclear.
Hosted by Eve Rosemary (@theeverosemary), The Everyday Saint invites you to step into the lifelong pursuit of Something Greater—and reminds you that you are not walking that road alone.
