In inspiration, Cardinal Burke knew that a Shrine dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe would fulfill the needs to revive family devotion, which has suffered so many assaults in recent times. Becket, the Shrine's Director of Communications, shares about the inspiration for the Shrine as a means of hope for families, a safe haven for those who have lost infants or are struggling with infertility, and Our Lady's love for her children to bring us closer to her Son. In its spiritual prominence, visitors today may receive a plenary indulgence from pilgrimaging the Shrine.
