Identity Series: Sister
The Magdala Podcast
Today on the podcast, Rachael continues our "Identity Series" with the second string: Sister. Together with guest Anna Carter from Eden Invitation, they discuss the different forms sisterhood can take, touch on wounds of comparison, and share their own experiences with sisterhood and connection within the Church. Welcome to a place of honesty, hope, and healing for women struggling with sexual addiction. We're so glad you're here. ⎯⎯⎯ Anna Carter is the co-founder and president of Eden Invitation. Anna's tenacious faith in Jesus predated her own experience of same-sex desires. Her passion for catechesis and evangelization brought her to Franciscan University of Steubenville, NET Ministries, and the high school classroom. Now, through directing the work of Eden Invitation, Anna proclaims there is resurrected life in the midst of our longings. Anna founded Eden Invitation to seek a just, pastoral response to LGBTQ+ experiences, and offer insight on what a "yes" to the Church's teachings can look like within these desires. ⎯⎯⎯ The Magdala Podcast is sponsored by The Catholic Theology Show: https://youtube.com/@TheCatholicTheologyShow?si=BbO0jqohKzqn-FWj ⎯⎯⎯ Magdala Ministries is a 501(c) non-profit organization.
