Join Andrew and Rhen as they continue to journey through their series on the six stages of building a development office, and this week, they discuss stage 3, the Individualize Phase.  Stage 3 introduces  the addition of a strong major gifts program as an integral part of fundraising. Organizations in the Individualize Phase are already committed to development through a full-time staff member, a strong annual fund, and invested leadership.  In this third phase, these organizations are ready to grow into individual asks of high capacity donors.  Andrew highlights ways in which successful stage 3 organizations use their annual fund as a pipeline for major gifts.  These organizations are intentional about meeting with donors and building fruitful, long-term relationships.
